With its established network of contacts, Stena Stål can supply forged parts or castings designed specifically for your needs. The product range comprises parts in wide-ranging sizes in long or short series. Our basic concept is to deliver directly from mill to you the customer, where we take care of logistics and administration.
Forged rings in large and small dimensions
We can deliver forged rings with a diameter of 2400 mm and the height of 2200 mm. The maximum piece weight is 25 tons.
Rolled rings – from one-offs to large series
Rolled rings up to 5000 mm in diameter and 800 mm in height. The maximum piece weight is 8 tons. We also deliver profile rings.
We know close dye forgings
Ask us about components forged with our unique tools. This includes unmachined or finished machined parts in alloyed or unalloyed steel, aluminium or copper. Delivered in piece weights from 100 gram to 4 tons.
Open dye forgings – unmachined, rough machined or finished machined
Forged parts in piece weights up to fifty tons and forged axles and bars up to 15 meters in length. We also offer various types of heat treatment and testing services according to your specifications.
Castings – the straightest route to a finished product
Casting gives us the freedom to come up with elegant and weight-saving designs. Cast products are just part of our offering. Rough machining, finished machining, surface treatment and assembly are other services we offer. You can be sure that your products are manufactured by the right foundry. Our suppliers include foundries that supply steel, ductile iron, gray iron, and heavy and light metals. Regardless of the type of material or casting you need, we have the right supplier.
